Audience Engage-ment

In terms of advertising and marketing, we are completely funded by our school's administration. Despite this, the paper maintains a high engagement with the student body and community. Above is an example of a partnership with Rockhurst High School's student newspaper -- the all-boys Jesuit "brother school" to my all-girls school.

 

The video is a "blind dating" vlog-style piece. A series like this was conducted years ago, with high student interest and request for it to return. I ensured that request was followed through, and thus created one of the most highly engaged with pieces on our online presence. This also opened the door for further combined efforts with Rockhurst's student newspaper in the future.

Cycle 5, our publication began to send out a feedback Google form to the entire school to better represent them as a whole and public content they would like to see more of.

The form was a success and we collected responses that we implemented into our most recent cycle -- cycle 6.
